About Founder

Marsha Biddix
is a woman of courage, faith and obedience, answering the call of God by founding the “Women-Of-Honor” organization.
A native of Hood River, Oregon and born the 14th of 22 children. She began using her God-gifted talent at a very
early age by playing the piano and singing in her family small church. Growing up, her father and mother were both Pentecostal
ministers and instrumental in encouraging her to be a “visionary” for the things of God and to have a mustard
seed faith.
Marsha’s faith has opened many doors of opportunities in her life. Marsha has designed
and executed faith-based programs for women, youth and outreach ministries. She has a gift of singing, writing songs,
inspirational stories and poetry. Marsha adores getting into God’s presence by worshipping God in her home,
community and at church where she serves in Music Ministry and Youth Ministry. She currently serves as
a teacher at the Women’s Bible Study group at Hood River Alliance Church.
Marsha’s desire of connecting with women and young ladies from every walk of life, culture and religion has
always been her passion and desire for many years. Her mother was a spiritual apostolic leader and inspirational speaker to
many women from every walk of life and her legacy continues to live on through Marsha.
Marsha is committed to
walk as a woman of honor, with dignity and grace to fulfill her God-given vision for the Women-Of-Honor organization. Her
first opportunity to answer God’s call to ministry, happened by sharing the vision for Women Of Honor on December 2006,
at a Mary Kay Christmas Brunch in North Richland Hills, Texas. Marsha's heart continues to expand the vision
of encouraging, inspiring and equipping women accelerated when she hosted the first Women-Of-Honor Conference in Grapevine,Texas in
Spring 2007, followed by a Women-Of-Honor Tea Event in Summer 2007. In Summer 2008, she held the second
Women-of- Honor Conference in Dallas, Texas. Women's lives are forever touched, changed and revived from participating
and attending these events.
In 2009, Marsha moved to Hood
River, Oregon to assist her younger sister, Sadra (Sadie) Matthews who was diagnosed with cancer. On September
22, 2009, Sadra lost her battle to cancer. Marsha is determined and committed to educating, inspiring and equipping
women who battle with this condition to "not give up or give out" but hold on strong as a Woman of Honor with dignity
and respect. Having climbed
the corporate ladder as a respected and successful human resources expert, Marsha seized the opportunity in 2004, to become
an entrepreneur by starting her own business, Biddix Consulting Services, specializing in human resources compliance.
Her love of making a difference in lives of individuals continues to be a part of her daily life, business and Christian journey. Marsha attended
Dallas Baptist University and University of Phoenix, majoring in Business Administration. Marsha is a devoted wife
to her husband, Ted, and a loving and compassionate mother to their two sons: Kristopher and Shaun, and nephew, Anthony
Matthews.
